What Is Included In The Rental Cost?
Your rental price includes the GST, damage cover as per rental agreement, 24 hour roadside assistance, manufacturer’s scheduled servicing, vehicle registration and licensing fees, and unlimited kilometers drive.
Will I Have To Pay a Security Deposit?
A security bond is required for all vehicle rentals. This is $500.00 for Rideshare Select and must be paid by credit card (Visa, MasterCard) or Debit Visa or MasterCard. This fee is refunded when you return the car, provided it’s in the same condition as upon commencement of your hire.
Can I Pay When I Collect The Vehicle?
Yes, payment can be made at the time of vehicle collection. In order to secure your booking and choice of vehicle, you are required to supply a credit card number. In the event of a cancellation, a $50.00 cancellation fee is charged to the credit card provided at time of booking.
Can I Extend My Rental Period?
Yes, you can extend your rental period! Simply call us or send us an email with the details of your hire extension. Please note extensions are not guaranteed and we recommend advising us of your intention to extend as soon as possible.
Can I Return The Car Early?
You are welcome to return the car if you no longer need it, however please note that there are no refunds or credit for early return.
Is There a Minimum Rental Period?
Yes our minimum hire period is 6 weeks.
Can My Partner Or Relative Drive The Car Too?
Yes, we include a free extra driver as part of your rental agreement. This person cannot use the car for hire & reward but can drive it for domestic, leisure and commuting purposes, however they are not covered to drive as an uber driver. (one uber driver per vehicle).
Do I Need Arrange My Own Insurance?
Standard Damage Cover is included in your daily rental rate with additional Damage Cover options available. There is a $1500 excess payable in the event of an incident and should you not be at fault, once full recovery is obtained we will provide a refund of the excess amount.
